The problem
Every event that goes undocumented is a missed opportunity to support a student and protect your staff.
Most schools handle student events — accidents, incidents, conflicts — the same way they have for decades. Inconsistently, reactively, and without a clear system for documentation or response.
Inconsistent responses
When there's no system guiding the response, even the most well-meaning educators can leave students without the support they truly need.
Educator overload
Whether it's an accident at recess or a behavioral incident in the hallway, teachers spend far too long documenting what happened, notifying parents, and figuring out next steps — on top of everything else.
No pattern visibility
Educators often sense when a student is struggling — but without proper documentation, those instincts are hard to act on. Retrayce turns observation into a clear, actionable record.
How it works

Think of it like having a GPS in the room
Before Retrayce, educators handled everything alone — whether a kid got hurt at recess or a serious behavioral situation unfolded in the hallway. Documentation. Parent email. Response plan. All from scratch, all under pressure. Retrayce changes that. The framework, the language, and the resources are right there in front of you — instantly. You still make every decision. You still bring the judgment, the relationships, and the knowledge only you have.
"Retrayce is your resource. You are still the author."
Features
Everything a school needs to respond better
Support plans when you need them
For behavioral incidents, educators can generate a complete support plan — intervention ideas, reflection questions, accountability steps, restorative conversation starters, parent communication, and follow-up recommendations. Optional, educator-initiated, never automatic.
Complete event history
Every accident and incident is saved and searchable. Filter by event type, student, or date. Access full records, parent communications, and support plans anytime.
Student profiles
Each student builds an automatic profile over time. See all their accidents, incidents, parent communications, and plan history in one place.
Pattern detection
Retrayce surfaces students with repeat events, common locations, and recurring patterns — so problems get addressed before they escalate into something bigger.
Parent communication
Every logged event — accident or incident — includes a drafted parent/guardian communication. Warm, factual, and ready to customize in seconds.
School-wide dashboard
Administrators get a bird's-eye view of all accidents, incidents, trends, and student patterns across the entire school in real time.

Yes. Retrayce is designed with FERPA compliance in mind. We operate as a school official under your school's authority, meaning student data is handled strictly according to your institution's policies. We never sell, share, or use student data for any purpose other than providing the Retrayce service. Every school signs a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before going live that outlines exactly how data is stored, protected, and managed. If your district has a specific DPA template, we will sign it.
Absolutely not — and it was never designed to. Retrayce is a school documentation and workflow tool that helps your existing staff document events and respond to student incidents more consistently and thoughtfully. Every support plan Retrayce creates is a starting point for your team to review and apply using their professional judgment. Your counselors, administrators, and teachers remain in full control of every decision. Think of Retrayce as a resource that makes your team more effective — not a replacement for the human relationships that matter most.
When an educator logs an incident and answers the follow-up questions, Retrayce sends that information to a large language AI model that has been specifically instructed to generate warm, restorative, educator-friendly support strategies. It never diagnoses students, uses clinical language, or makes disciplinary decisions. The AI produces a structured plan with seven sections — intervention ideas, reflection questions, accountability steps, restorative conversation starters, parent communication, follow-up recommendations, and student growth ideas. Your staff reviews everything and decides what to use.
Most schools are fully up and running within 48 hours of signing. There is no lengthy implementation process, no IT configuration, and no training certification required. Your staff logs in, watches a 10-minute walkthrough video, and starts logging events the same day. We handle all onboarding personally for every founding school.
Retrayce is built for anyone on your staff who interacts with students — classroom teachers, school counselors, administrators, assistant principals, deans of students, coaches, paraprofessionals, and behavior specialists. Administrators get a school-wide dashboard showing all events, patterns, and trends. Teachers and support staff use it to log accidents and incidents and access support plans in the moment they need them.
Your data belongs to you — always. If you cancel your Retrayce subscription we will provide a full export of all your event records, parent communications, and support plans in a standard format before closing your account. We will then permanently delete all of your data from our systems within 30 days of cancellation. We will never hold your data hostage or make it difficult to leave.
Yes. Retrayce works for any school environment where educators need to document student events — accidents or incidents — and respond when the situation calls for it. Special education programs and therapeutic day schools have found Retrayce especially valuable because of the higher documentation requirements and the need for consistent team-wide responses. All support plans should be reviewed within your program's clinical or IEP framework and applied at your team's professional discretion.
After joining the waitlist you will receive a personal email from our founder Raphael within 24 hours to schedule a free 30-minute demo. During that call we will show you the full platform, answer your questions, and walk through what implementation looks like for your specific school. If Retrayce is a fit, we handle everything from there — account setup, staff invitations, and a live onboarding session with your team.
Yes. All founding schools receive a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card required to start. We are confident that once your staff experiences Retrayce in a real school environment the value will be immediately clear. After your trial you can sign an annual contract or walk away — no pressure either way.
Important: Retrayce is a school documentation and educator workflow tool, not a clinical or therapeutic platform. Every support plan is a suggestion only and should be reviewed and applied at the educator's professional discretion. Retrayce does not diagnose students, provide therapy, replace school counselors, or make disciplinary decisions. All student data is handled in accordance with FERPA guidelines.
