We operate as a school official under your school's authority, meaning student data is handled strictly according to your institution's policies. We never sell, share, or use student data for any purpose other than providing the Retrayce service. Every school signs a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) before going live that outlines exactly how data is stored, protected, and managed. If your district has a specific DPA template, we will sign it.

Retrayce is a school documentation and workflow tool that helps your existing staff document events and respond to student incidents more consistently and thoughtfully. Every support plan Retrayce creates is a starting point for your team to review and apply using their professional judgment. Your counselors, administrators, and teachers remain in full control of every decision. Think of Retrayce as a resource that makes your team more effective — not a replacement for the human relationships that matter most.

When an educator logs an incident and answers the follow-up questions, Retrayce sends that information to a large language AI model that has been specifically instructed to generate warm, restorative, educator-friendly support strategies. It never diagnoses students, uses clinical language, or makes disciplinary decisions. The AI produces a structured plan with seven sections — intervention ideas, reflection questions, accountability steps, restorative conversation starters, parent communication, follow-up recommendations, and student growth ideas. Your staff reviews everything and decides what to use.

We will then permanently delete all of your data from our systems within 30 days of cancellation. We will never hold your data hostage or make it difficult to leave.
